Description

I've finally met my Nationalistic obligations and acquired an Alpha Flight page. Definitely a weird series, June Brigman was the artist on the series when I began collecting the title. There is a litheness to her figures that always appealed to me.

At the time this was produced, Scott Williams was working as an inking assistant for Whilce Portacio, who hadn't yet broken through with a pencilling career. Whilce Portacio is credited in the issue with inking over June Brigman, but Scott had this for sale at SDCC. It's quite likely he worked on this solo, or alongside Whilce.
