Description

A Grail Piece from my Want List has come home to my Collection! I have loved this vintage cover since the first day I purchased Justice Machine #1 back in the early 1980's! I thought it was Amazing back in the day to have such an established artist from Marvel to draw the first issue cover for an independent title. This piece is Pure Nostalgia to me and I'm very happy to have been able to strike a deal for it. Thanks to Rich Donnelly for working with me on this one, you have made me a very happy fan boy!

Big congratulations! Justice machine had a short run and poor distribution, but the few who remember think fondly of it. This is easily the best piece of art associated with the series!

I remember this cover. Beautiful work by Byrne. It's such a great feeling when you're able to bring something like this home to your collection. Congrats.

Wow, talk about nostalgic! One if the "it" indie books that was always hot and a classic cover from the indie genre. Big time congrats. You rarely see classic indie pieces like this.

I don't know which is the bigger accomplishment - acquiring this cover or working out a deal with a Donnelly! :p Congrats!!

Thanks guys, I agree that this was the Best piece of art of these characters for me. I also agree that nostalgic pieces from childhood always give a collector an added chill having long ago memories of first buying and reading a particular book. I find the younger I was when I purchased a book, the more Nostalgic the feeling when I own the original! Pieces like this give me chills down my spine just remembering when I first bought the book!
