Description

Okay, so set the way back machine for the mid 80's when John Byrne was reinventing Superman post Crisis on Infinite Earths. This character appeared around issue 4 and for some reason his look just connected with me. When the chance came to get on John's commission list for some reason this guy sprang to mind. Thanks John for creating him, and thanks Jim Warden for setting the whole thing up!

The positioning of the legs and guns make this a perfect example of how JB gives his commissioners the most bang for their bucks! Hopefully you will get more of these!

Agreed, you really feel the weight of these guns that are being slung around and how his body is rotating against the weight of them. The fact that the whole figure is framed by both the guns and the page make it that much more intense. Great stuff from an artist that hasn't lost anything.

Neil, this is really a sweet commission indeed!! I've seen a lot of John's commission and this one is just too damn sweet!! I really love it!! Thanks for sharing man!!

There's nothing quite like getting a character commissioned from his creator. And it's just a bonus that the creator is John Byrne, a comic legend!
