Cap and Red Skull going at it with Sharon and the Watcher ... well watching! Check out that 2nd to last panel. Soo good! I really like Andy's art. He was one of Marvel's very best in the 1990's so I have been actively trying to hunt down some of his art from that era. I missed a few by not being aggressive enough but was able to nab this one from the HA International Auction that my buddy Olivier runs (shameless plug). Here is what HA has to say-

Oh, yeah! Cap is getting quite the whooping here. I can see why the Watcher wants to see that moment, since it doesn't happen that much. An exploding star destroys a civilization, a cosmic entity is born, Cap gets a heaping helping of knuckle sandwich...and the Watcher watches. Beautiful art, and what a fantastic fight scene. And Sharon watching through her fingers. Love it all! Congrats!

Sincere congrats! I absolutely loved Kubert's work on Cap and particularly from this arc. Waid/Kubert/Delperdang totally hit it out of the park, to the extent that when I think "Cap" Kubert is one of the first names that comes to mind. Love the action in this page. Andy's fight scenes and choreography are second to none. SO dynamic!
