This page really has it all- The Avengers, the Defenders and the two best panels are Stephen and Clea just living in the Sanctum Sanctorum. Big bonus that George had his hand in this page. I really just love everything about it.

Here is what HA has to say: Tom Sutton, George Perez, and Ernie Chan Doctor Strange #29 Story Page 3 Original Art (Marvel, 1978). A classic Doctor Strange page featuring Beast, Yellowjacket, and Nighthawk. This is the page referred to by Roger Stern in Marvel Masterworks: Doctor Strange #7, in which he tells how Sutton drew the "human" Beast, and George Perez quickly came in and redrew him with fur. A fun anecdote about a great page! Ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight toning, production trimmed top right corner, paste-ups in the bottom margin, tape residue on the top and bottom edges, oil and spot staining, with light handling wear. Signed by Sutton in the bottom margin and in Very Good condition.

Excellent pick-up. Very "rich/refined" looking art. A collector after my own taste. Hard to pass up a stellar page like that, and you didn't.

I really debated on how hard I was going after this page on that Sunday HA weekly auction. It is definitely a very unique page among the collaborators, but, alas, you outbid me again. Curses, but Congrats!
