Description

Fun story line that seemed to be the last good combo of story and art of the book. Some great covers continued to happen thru the series but the interior made the Defenders almost unreadable. I could not understand how the heads of Marvel could do this to MY book. So disappointing.I need to go back and read the trades for the stories as I don't think I even read any issues after this story concluded.

Not sure if I can pinpoint where it was exactly that I gave up on the title. I was good for probably the first 40, but for sure the first 20-25 made me a lifelong Defenders fan. Obviously Sal was still rock solid on this great splash. Congrats!

It was great to see the return of Sal and Jim, and the real sense of family fun that the Defenders could embody - when the Hulk wasn't pummelling the rest of the team. Great title splash!
