2023 is off to a great start. I need to back off in buying but I could not pass this up. They say you can't get deals anymore on Heritage. Well I think I got a great deal on this cool George Perez cover. I loved Val original look but this costume resonated with me as well and here she is up front and center as only George can draw her. Also a big fan of Nighthawk and Falcon is a great character as well so color me jazzed!
Here is what HA has to say, which is lame as all they seem to do is push the MCU movie characters, which I like but I love the original character in our beloved comic books :
George Pérez and Frank Giacoia Defenders #64 Cover Falcon Original Art (Marvel, 1978). The Falcon flies in to help Nighthawk deal with teammate Valkyrie. The cover was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". The corner box, logo, and masthead are all stat paste-ups. The lower caption is a hand-lettered paste-up. Signed by Pérez in the lower margin. Toned and in Very Good condition. Comes with a copy of the comic book.

Ah, so you got this one too! You're taking down some major scores from HA buddy! Must be nice to actually be the one to take killer pieces home, instead of the one who's constantly being blown out of the water with his bids. LOL! Anyway, can't say I was a big fan of the white (or silver?) costume. Maybe not as awful as Wonder Man's safari jacket on Avengers, but I think the color just reminded me too much of Sif. But of course you know what a huge Defenders fan I am, so it's impossible not to love this baby. And by George Perez no less. I can see 2023 is going to be a good art year for you. Congrats and keep it rolling.

Defenders 64 bookended the best part of the Defenders title . This cover features two great characters , I wish Marvel used them more . And I absolutely loved Val's white armour . Marvel Bronze Age magic!
