Description

This image has been haunting me for almost 20 years. I couldn't make this commission happened due to timing, money or artists interest. This year the stars aligned when inquiring to buy some of Matt's art. We opted for this commission instead and he did a super job. Thank you Matt!!!

I am curious about the story that inspired the image ... but at the same time I don't want to know, since I suspect it is quite personal. Thank you Kirk for sharing the painting, and Kudos to Matt for doing such a nice job on the commission.
