Description

James was asked to create a vargas-esque pinup of Sally Jupiter for the Watchmen movie. 8 1/2 x 11", graphite on bond.

You can spot the final image hanging in the Comedian's apartment. The image is used as set dressing in other places in the movie, for example, you can also spot it hanging in the original Niteowl's (Hollis Mason) home.

The big difference between the prelim and the final pencil drawing is Sally's top is not transparent in the prelim. When James submitted the prelim to Zack Snyder, Zack requested Sally not wear a bra in the final drawing.
