DescriptionThe power of Jack Kirby's pencils and dynamic layout skills are on fine display in this terrific page from 1962. The Hulk appears in five of the six panels and I especially like the menacing silhouette of the Hulk in the 3rd panel and the action shot of him leaping away with Rick Jones in the final panel.Many thanks to John Byrne for trading me this classic page! Iconic example of the Hulk's brief angry, tough-guy (as opposed to dim-witted) period. I want to know what JB got on the other end of this trade!

I'm drooling as we speak! That gorgeous 3rd panel certainly reminds me of Frankenstein's monster lurking about. Stunning acquisition straight from one of the top legends in the biz.
