That is definitely one of the best Darwyn Batman’s I have ever seen. It’s just so rich and this one image tells the whole story. A true gem. Great piece Benno.

Superb! Love the environment and lighting as much as the figures and drapery. Cooke achieved a strong 3-D effect with all the layering of foreground figures and buildings and a distant Robin, but he also created a bold 2-D graphic shape. I can almost feel the breeze looking at the movement of the cape, Joker's closed-eyed expression is perfect, and I love how swivel-head Batman is fixing his gaze on us
