so this is what i consider to piece #3 in what could be your best purgatori page. now i know this is a sketch but there is more to this then just a sketch. this is a purgatori sketch by Jim Balent. i know purgatori wasnt created by Jim but Jim took the reigns in Purgatori's first mini series and Jim made her his own. there wasnt a single early chaos reader that complained about Jim's work. we accepted Jim as one of the team. now why this could contend is easy, you have a nude sketch of purgatori by Jim. to a lesser content, this would be like having a nude supergirl sketch by Al Plastino. congrats with this pick up.

this is still such a beautiful sketch. i really enjoy how Balent took her 1st series and made it his own so to see this is just beautiful. congrats again. 2600

I just realized what a terrible scan this is lol. Thanks for stopping by again, Jim is a true legend and I wish he'd come back to the Lady Death fold but I think that ship has sailed. The year he did this for me he was tabled next to colorist Jack Gray and just down the isle from the Chaos crew. It was a magical time!

I have a similar story with my Cremator sketch by Jim. Jim just happened to be down a ways from the Chaos table and couldn't of been cooler. I doubt any fan has had a bad interaction with him.
