DescriptionWhen this page came up on ComicLink several years ago, I had to go for this page as I had a gap with any interior pages from this outstanding issue. I was fortunate in that I won this auction at an unusually good price for a page that had not made the public rounds. Why this issue and this particular page?Nostalgia. Pure and simple. I loved this issue when I read it as much younger person. Wonder-Man going toe to toe with the Sub-Mariner was one of the great battle sequences as Wondy triumphed (I would love to own one page from this sequence). The Avengers all captured by Attuma with their slave collars was a continuation of Shooter's great story. And, then this....the Vision escaping from the other Avengers only to ally himself with Dr. Doom at the end of this issue to tempt every one to come back next month with their hard earned money to see the finale of this incredible storyline. I totally agree with your assessment of this page. The storytelling and art is most excellent, with multiple suspsenseful cliffhangers at work to make you want to buy the next issue. We have a bit of a shared history with art from this issue, and I am very happy to see that you have landed another amazing page from this classic. Big congrats!

Any of us that grew up reading these issues know it was an Incredible ride! The story and art were unsurpassed and the stories still resonate with us many years later! Fantastic page from this Prime Period of Avengers lore!

Artistically the Perez/ Marcos team firing on all cylinders. Perez always makes the Vision pop visually.
