DescriptionA page from the Shooter/Perez/Marcos Ultron Saga that defined great storytelling. I am looking for an interior companion page from Avengers 161 to go along with this page. Please let me know if you have any to sell.UPDATE: Over the last three years, I have been quite fortunate to have purchased the last two original comic art pages from the Avengers 161 issue. A big shout of thanks out to DD and ML for making this happen. Addendum: Since I posted this page many years ago without much fanfare, a sub-set of original art collecting has taken hold of our 'investment' hobby now. Without identifying the numerous collectors who have elevated birth and first appearance original art pages to all time highs, this page is from Jocasta's first appearance. While it is not the true birth page, it is the page where she comes alive. As a result, I changed the title heading now that I have moved this to my Featured gallery section. Social/Sharing |

Oh, wow, that is a memorable Perez page! The storytelling in panels 2 and 3 is great, that awesome middle panel is perfection, and you've got some cool shots of Ultron and Ant-Man with lots of cool machinery in the bottom panels. It's hard to ask for more.

What a historic Avengers page. Beautifully composed and pencilled by George Perez, it convincingly tells the story of Janet Van Dyne, the Wasp, when her entire identity is transferred into the robotic being known as Jocasta. That middle panel depicting the transfer is amazing! Fabulous inks by Pablo Marcos really make this page a winner! Fabulous pick-up, congrats!
