I love this really gorgeous piece.

It's a Nick Cardy "Unexpected" cover (#120) that is pretty neato.

It's inked with Brush and Pen and is pretty interesting in terms of technique. The Ghostly effect on the actual Ghost is a very creative use of white paint which looks really cool and solarized on the original.

it's also on very thick paper... possible 4 ply... definitely thicker that the 3 ply I like.

I'm vary happy I had this in my Collection for quite some time... Unfortunately I had to sell it when I needed the cash

Hey Al - I love Nick's work. His DBC horror work is very underappreciated. But I'm strapped for cash right now. If I'm lucky, this might still be available.

I agree. Nick has been awesome his entire career. I love his stuff... period. I'll keep this up for a few months... I'm not sure I wanna sell it. It's become very sentimental since I met Nick, and he was the nicest guy in the world... but... There were a few guys who have seen this and were curious... and I guess I'm curious what it might go for these days.
