Descriptiondetail. i don't know how well one can see this even in the scan but on the crest of the wave Mike used some whiteout. Pretty much the only whiteout on the page, and it was just for some little details but obviously that was really important. I held the page up to the light so see what he took out and it was just bigger squiggles and he replaced it with some small dashes instead. The dashes really make the wave appear to roll more. Less is more from the master.Social/Sharing |

It is great to be able to see his bluelines and white out at this scale. I have heard that when Mignola pencils his pages, either his lines come effortlessly or he spends all day fighting a single curved line to get it to read right. Anyway, as this scale, you can really start to see his process. Thanks for posting it!
