Description

Once in a while a piece of art comes along unlooked for that really speaks to me and gets the pulse pounding. All rational thought about budgets, affordability, and disciplined art collecting go out the window. This is such a piece, and it is fantastic. The art is to me the best piece I've seen from Bryan Hitch and inker Paul Neary, and it is also a perfect depiction of Superman doing battle with a huge nightmare monstrocity that looks like it might give the Man of Steel quite a hard time. The detail and depth of the piece is amazing. The art is a little bigger than a double page spread and is done on a single large 23"x18" board (much preferred over two taped pieces!). I want to thank Bryan, Paul and their agent, Rich Dedominicis, for making this happen.
