DescriptionKirby / Everett is one of my favored combinations and one of my collecting goal is to have at least one page from each issue of Thor they worked on together...143, 170 - 175 so when this Thor 175 page popped up for sale, a second time, I decided to grab it.Each panel has something sweet to offer - and in panel 4 it features a hidden reference to Judy...always after Everett! Another classic Kirby 4-panel. I'm sure Sinnott and Royer would forgive me, but MAN is this sweet.

Mjolnir has been upstaged! I wonder if it's going to pout later, and not return when Thor calls...Kirby/Everett goodness! That's one heck of a goal, man, and this is a really nice start! Big congrats!

Gasp! What a stunning page! The angle on Hogun's mace flying towards the creature in the second panel is superb, and is given such weight and direction by Everett's inks. Great drama.

The King still rules on Thor (and most other of his drawn series at Marvel in the 60s) !
