DescriptionVal Semeiks and Bob Almond brought their considerable talents to this reinterpretation of page 17 from Marvel Two in One 76, the first comic I ever bought as a kid. Val drew 'his' version of page 17 of the comic using nothing more than generic character reference and a re-created (text-only) script. I particularly love the close-up of the Thing at the bottom.SPOILER ALERT: This page features the first (and only?) appearance of Iron Jack Baker from the Ringmaster's Circus of Crime. Mr. Baker quickly learns that not all strong men are created equal! But our Ben isn't out of the woods yet - as Tarrax the Tamer (NOT the Herald of Galactus from the Fantastic Four comics) enters the fray! Val and Bob get the Two in One Guy's gold star of excellence for their top flight commissions. Both have official websites on the Interweb for you to get in touch for a commission of your own. This has to be in the top 3 pages recreated so far from this story! These two artists mesh wonderfully! Congrats!

This is clever and takes what i originally felt was just an "okay" story to fantastic artistic heights. This is a great twist on what you have done before.

I can't think of a more perfect example of what happens when a great idea combined with top notch talent will result in.

Val and Bob are one of the best modern teams out there like Davis and Farmer and Jurgens and Rapmund. I love the reinterpreted last panel.

Very nice choices made by Semeiks on the way to making that a more Thing-centric page
