Description

Back in the late 1980's, my finance (now wife) Lynn and I traveled to North Carolina to attend one of Shelton Drumm's terrific conventions. The main reason we made the trip was to meet Al Williamson. Al had brought some recently returned pages with him and I fell in love with this one. My birthday was not too far off, so Lynn bought it for me as an early present and Al signed and personalized it to me. It's one of the treasured pieces from my collection and one I'll never part with.

Awesome! I have a soft spot for Leonardi's version of Wolverine, and Al was firing on all cylinders with his inkwork on these pages. Congrats!

beautifull! i remember reading this story and thinking the art was nothing special. But in b&w, it just jumps at you :)
