DescriptionThree stellar Corto Maltese commissions arrived in the mail from Jordi this week. These are the end result of a commission adventure that ends well. I have the good fortune to call Jordi a friend and have had some fantastic art by him already including several commissions (see the Dragon Lady and Fiction House Jungle Girl pieces in this gallery). When the chance came up for another commission, I had Corto Maltese on my mind. The images are very much Jordi's signature style but he managed to capture Corto both in personality and aesthetics in these pieces. I think they are all masterpieces.This one is my favorite. Talk about an art day!!! I think this one is my favorite of the three! (But I like them all.)

Hate to follow the crowd, but yep, this one has something extra-special. The cool geometrics of the composition reflect the even match up of these two classic characters. They feel like real people, only better.

It's a copy of the last pannel on the page #78 from Corto Maltese's first album, "The ballad of the salt sea". With the addition of Torpedo on the right.
