DescriptionI love how beautifully haunting these images are. Love the creepy. This 2008 work is by acclaimed Pim & Francie artist Al Columbia.Columbia started his career as an assistant to Bill Sienkiewicz in illustrating Alan Moore's ambitious but ill-fated Big Numbers series. The influence of Sienkiewicz and Dave McKean is strong in Columbia's work, though he later adopted a streamlined drawing style evocative of early animated cartoons, particularly the works of Fleischer Studios. Thus, Columbia has created an art style distinctive of his own and quite recognizable. Art from his unpublished “Belladonna” story. Social/Sharing |
