DescriptionI can't overstate how thrilling it is to add these two pages to my collection. When first published, 300 cemented Frank Miller as one of the all time greatest creators in the history of comics. It's one thing to author memorable stories with established mainstream characters like Batman and Daredevil, but to create such an epic spectacle out of the relatively obscure Persian/Greek wars was an eye opener to me. Was there nothing that Miller could NOT do? It even translated into one of the more successful comics to film adaptations I can think of. And somehow, I now miraculously have a little piece of the source material. Life is good.This spread is HUGE and the fact that it's all on one board is a bonus. Killer page, Scott. I agree with all of your points. I flip through this book all the time. Great script paired with awesome imagery. Congrats on a such a nice acquisition!

When I saw the first ad for 300 it looks like just a quirky little side project by FM.I would never have guessed the book would have such an influence of popular culture a few years later. it really struck a nerve commercially, critically, politically and even historically. I guess it's a testament to FM's bold minimalist approach that so many people are able project so much into the work. I think it's some of Frank's best work. IMHO FM and Lynn varley produced one of the most aesthetically pleasing comic books I've ever seen. I think they both took their work to another level. Frank is firing on all cylinders here. The pages has such a kinetic energy about it. No other comic book artist pulls me into the story like Frank Miller. Congratulations Scott!

Well, here's something you don't see everyday. The fact that this is becoming a movie franchise makes it an even more timely buy. Love that bewildered guy's face in the middle of the bottom panel. Congratulations on a nice pick up.
