DescriptionI've been looking for an Infantino Elongated Man page for some time to go with my Adam Strange and Flash sketches.I found this page by Infantino and Frank Giacoia on Mike Burkey's site and jumped on it. While it's not one of the Detective pages drawn and inked by Carmine, it shows Elongated Man taking on the Flash - two of Carmine's characters. The intent is to frame it with the other two pieces and, if I can find one that I like, a Batman sketch. The page is from JLA (1st Series) #200 Page 37 from the story A League Divided: The Flash vs. The Elongated Man! The splash page features Flash [Barry Allen] running up a hill to fight the Elongated Man! The additional images on the back show Frank's warm-up work and a signature. Thanks for looking. Man, I thought I couldn't get more jealous of your collection, but this proves me wrong. Congrats on a sweet page!

Yes, his is one for the frame shop. (I was a sucker for those over-sized (bi)centennial issues and this one had a lot going for it, including lots of great artists. I suppose the Bolland Batman chapter is the most famous, but I especially enjoyed the Kubert Hawkman chapter, the Gil Kane Atom vs. G.L. chapter and this one for their old school flavor.

Man, this was "such" a great issue! :-) I'd love to score "any" of the splashes from it, but the fact you have Infantino's-!? How gloriously cool is that-?! And thanks for sharing it.

Good grief, I cannot believe I never saw this before. What an amazing piece, Alex! If you don't mind, I'm going to include it in the Inkwell Awards bio page for Hall Of Fame winner Giacoia; a wonderful example of his dynamic style (not to mention Carmine's of course). Congrats!
