Description

This is a piece I will cherish always. Not only because I absolutely love Ian's art, but also because of the expierence getting it. At the Fan Expo this year, Ian was over as a guest. He was doing pieces well you wait. On friday I talked to him and told him I was interested in having this done, he suggested I come back on Saturday. Saturday evening I caught him around 6:30 and his line wasn't that long. Around 7:30 (~half hour before the show closed) it was my turn. I offered to come back Sunday, but Ian said he had a tight schedule and wouldn't be able to do it on Sunday. He said if I didn't mind staying he would do it that evening before he left. We stayed at the con until 9:30 some 90 minutes after the show closed. We had a great visit, and I got to see him doing this piece. Truely above and beyond the call here. Ian is such a great guy to visit with and WOW, what an artist!

I've never seen Ian at a show. THis is GREAT work for a con sketch. Would love one for me. I've been ablt to get two of his pages.

A great story and this picture is even better in person. Glad I got to see it earlier. Great piece
