DescriptionFrom my experience, it is very easy to find Peanuts originals from 1952, 1953, and 1954. Someone who worked for United Features Syndicate apparently had a large number of originals from those years. At the San Diego Comic Book Convention in 1980, a Southern California animation art dealer had two stacks of those originals on his table, each of which was at least 8 to 10 inches tall. But Peanuts originals from 1950 and 1951 are VERY hard to find -- I have probably seen about 10 of them in the past 35 years. I like this strip in particular, since ice cream is my favorite food. Whenever I am invited to a party by a friend who knows of this strip, I always ask "Will you be serving ice cream?"Social/Sharing |
