Description

I guess you could say that this is your fairly standard Dawn head shot convention drawing. But I definitely like it. Linsner spent more than a bit of time on it, doing some very beautiful linework. And I got to chat with him and his girlfriend for several minutes, which made getting this sketch a more memorable experience. As to the personalization... JML did a fair number of drawings for people at this show. Even back in 1998, some of his convention drawings were already ending up on eBay. I told Linsner he could personalize the drawing so he'd be certain that at least one of the drawings he did that day would be staying with the person who had requested it.

I think the linework sets this one apart from the "standard" JML sketch. Awesome!
