DescriptionI don't know that you could find a more perfect cover with Superboy enjoying his adventures with other super powered teens.The artist of course is the unparalleled Gil Kane. I was fortunate to have met him once before his untimely departure from this plane of existence and was at least able to let me know how much I enjoyed his work. I was a fan of Green Lantern primarily because of his artwork and ecstatic when he was chosen to pencil John Carter Warlord of Mars. Social/Sharing |

Wow, another fabulous Legion cover and this time by the legendary Gil Kane! Better yet, he did this one with markers that don't face or turn purple. I've always loved the Best of DC Digests and the cover art from that series has rarely surfaced for some unknown reason, so it's a real treat to see them on the rare ocassions they do appear. I doff my cap to you, sir!

I've always loved this cover and was hoping the original would turn up one day and here it is. Huge congrats! To me, Gil Kane was one of the best cover artists of all time.

What a wonderful Legion cover. I am envious - I never got a chance to meet Kane. Thanks for sharing the art and the story with us.
