What a treat to see a complete Brown/Janson issue of DD. Too bad that Bob Brown didn´t live long enough to be recognized as one of the foremost DD artists. With the inking assist of first Vince Colletta and then Klaus Janson he produced some of the best looking DD issues to date. Maybe not as smooth as Colan, but with an uncanny sense of storytelling his panels were packed with emotion and action. Bob Brown took DD through a rough transitional phase, when sales caused DD to be published bi-monthly and paved eventually the way for Frank Miller. Well done, Lee!

Good looking splash! Great composition. Man-Bull didn't really show up in books during my peak reading periods, but I've come to appreciate him after his appearance in Disney+'s She-Hulk show. The way the show portrays him is likely an affront to true fans, but not all these villains can get the spotlight as the big baddie.
