Description

CARL BURGOS, the Timely / Marvel Comics creator of the Human Torch and several other Golden Age superheroes, made a brief return to Marvel Comics late in 1964, per a special request from Stan Lee. Illustrating only 4 short stories before his departure (3 Giantman, 1 Torch/Thing), Burgos' Marvel art is tough to come by. This large art splash page is probably the best single page of art that Burgos did during his short stay.

Thats an awesome piece! There was a really nice full page Giant-Man pinup that was sold a few years ago that may have been one of his best pieces from that period. Im kind of fond of the 1st page of issue #62 myself...
