Description

This piece arrived on my doorstep on Christmas Eve 2012 and a year later is still a marvel to behold. When given a chance for a commission by Iain, I was stumped as to which character to ask for as the subject. I finally decided to get the hero of my first paperback read; Princess of Mars. When the art arrived, I was quickly proven that the choice was a great one. Iain gives John the look of man who has lived adventure and has stories to tell of great battles and greater loves. This will be one of the pieces of artwork that will bring my imagination of Barsoom to life for years to come.
