Description

As the artist on the inaugural run of the groundbreaking comic, Mister X, Paul Rivoche was, along with writer and graphic designer Dean Motter, instrumental in devising a visual landscape that was as much a character of the series as the very denizens of Radiant City!

I met Paul again after his move to Warner Animation, where he worked designing environments for many of their TV series, including Batman Beyond, Superman, and Justice League. With these credentials, I knew he�d be perfect to create a commission of a favorite character from the latter, Hawkgirl!

Very cool illo by Rivoche! His talent to boil down essential forms and shapes from his Mister X days works very well with the animated form with varying line thicknesses.
