Description

So pleased that Marvel asked me to send over scans of some of George's unpublished pieces to be used for covers, knowing they are paying his cover fees to his wife Carol.

This one (and the upcoming Thor annual cover) were actually published before, but not by Marvel - they were a part of the Perez Accent on the First E fanzine from the late 70s. So early (and somewhat rougher) art style for George, but still easily recognizable as being from the Master.

And as a huge fan of George's run on the title, and the inclusion of the Impossible Man as part of the larger "first family" of Marvel, during that run, this has long been one of my favorites.

Great piece as it looks based on the Kirby pin up design with the four headshots. Then Perez added the wildcard that's Impossible Man and the four are reacting to this to make this like a one minute later.
