DescriptionA very sweet Tippie Sunday page from April 6, either 1932 or 1935 (I think). The piece is stamped April 6, 1932 in the margins, though a couple of those were changed to 1935. Except that April 6 doesn't fall on a Sunday in either one of those years. Given that the Sunday began in 1934, according to Allan Holtz's book, 1935 makes more sense, but at this point, who knows? Edwina's drawing was simply wonderful, with a terrific active line and sense of expression. She remains one of my favorites, especially the early stuff.Social/Sharing |
