Dave Sim said its the largest image of cerebus he ever did. Gerhard went to town on this baby doing everything you see around cerebus. Gerhard is a superhuman talent.

You should post another scan of a detailed closeup of a portion of the background on this....AMAZING!

Cerebus is drunk from alcohol and I'm drunk and realing from the amount of detail in this piece!!! Absolutely Fantastic art and a big congrats on getting this.

When we talk about the great art teams, many, including me, mention Kirby & Sinnott, and I often go on about the joys of Gil Kane and Wally Wood, but I believe, and this art, I think, shows that Sim and Gerhard should be in that conversation as well.
