And now for something completely different.....

Wade Furlong may be an artist you have not heard of...but you will. He is amazingly talented and on his way up in a big way. He has a mix of skill and artistic influences I have never seen before.

I can even see Salvador Dali influences in this piece.

Here we have a very surreal and different view of Wolverine's Trophy Wall. White Queen to the left and Mystique to the right, Wolvie is surrounded by his conquests and triumphs: A Sentinel Head, Magneto's Helmet, the heads of Sabretooth and Juggernaut, and Emma Frost playfully dangling Scott Summer's Visor. With all this going his way, all he can do is blow smoke rings.

Many many thanks to Kasra for helping bring this about and for shepherding Wade's amazing talent, and a HUGE thanks to Wade for doing such an amazing job on this piece with pencils, inks, ink wash, and white paint. It's a glory to behold, and it caps off a great year for this theme.

I was just reading the social media post by his family. How tragic. He had a big heart, and really wanted to help others. He will be missed.
