DescriptionGot this from Ryan Kelly. I made a donation to him over at his blog, and this is what I received as a "Thank You." No guarantees that this is what you'll receive, since it's up to him on what you'll get, but I'm freakin' grateful for what I received. It's gorgeous! (http://funrama.blogspot.com/2007/03/make-donation-get-my-art.html). Ryan Kelly is the artist of Local, published by Oni Press, and written by Brian Wood. Megan McKeenan is the main character of the series. Thank you, Ryan! ***UPDATE May 6th, 2009*** Although this image was originally done in exchange for a donation to Ryan Kelly, this image has been used as a pin-up piece in an issue of Local, as well as the intro image to the "Pin-Ups" section of the Local hardcover. This was also used in some Oni Press published books, in the ads for the Local hardcover. I'm insanely happy to see this every time I flip through books, and I see this.Social/Sharing |
