I remember this cover to Foom 10, as it was my first of four issues. great articles on the New X-Men as far as Cockrum goes this may be the best image or X-men 100 cover, Thanks for sharing.

I should have added this comment last June, but I think that this FOOM cover is the best one that Dave ever drew of the X-Men. I compare this against all of his X covers, even GS #1. The juxtaposition between old and new is truly awe-inspiring. I have looked at this image multiple times, and it continues to amaze me....

No idea how I have not seen this before. Fantastic piece, obviously in 1975 Wolverine was not the star of the title! Stunning.

I would say this is as good if not better than the cover to Giant Size X-Men #1. Cockrum at his best!
