Ahh, the mysterious, elusive cover to X-Men #40...heard about this one for years but never got to see it until now!

Your X-Men cover collection is incredible. A treasure trove of Marvel history.
I have to say, though, that Frankenstein looks like something Neal Adams would have drawn for the Jerry Lewis or Bob Hope books.
