Description

The last part of my Christmas gift!

The "New 52" has changed a lot of things, including the origins of a number of characters I like. The deletion of the entire history of the Teen Titans up until the start of the current title being a prime example.

Also not a huge fan of much of what has been done with the Tim Drake character and "Red Robin".

However, I have to give it to Dan Jurgens, when he featured the characters in an issue of
"The Fury of Firestorm: The Nuclear Men" (Love that nicely overblown title) he did a bang up job of featuring Red Robin, Kid Flash and Solstice.

Very cool page ! I'm not sure if you feel the same (about new costumes and characters), but for me, having a character being drawn by Dan Jurgens sort of validates them. It's as if he's the unofficial "heart" of DC (like Garcia Lopez was in the bronze age) - a character needs to be illustrated by him to have my "stamp of approval". Now I can finally start liking the "new" Titans ! Thanks for sharing !

Dan Jurgens was one of the first artists I became a fan of when I was a kid (I think it was a Teen Titans issue with Nightwing that did it for me). This is a great page, and Tim is looking very good. :)
