The Fab Five, by the Fab ONE!

I've wanted a Nick Cardy Robin piece for a long time now, as the man who made the Teen Titans the swingin'est hepcats in the whole 60's scene daddio!

The opportunity has never arisen alas but I've kept an eye out, just in case.

So when this piece appeared on e-Bay recently it was a dream come true, not just Robin, but Speedy, Kid Flash, Aqualad and the character whose look Mr Cardy made a classic; Donna Troy, the first Wonder Girl. In short, I got the whole Fab Five in a team pose! It really doesn't get much better than this!

I discovered this piece was being sold following the death of the seller's partner, who had requested the sketch personally.

So this one is respectfully dedicated to Sid, whose taste in artist's and subject matter was exemplary!
