Description

For sale is a hand colored print of Haunt of Fear #17. In the 1970s Russ Cochran commissioned Marie to hand color various famous EC covers. this one is beautiful and is the 10th she did of this cover, done in June 1974. Another Marie Severin hand colored print recently sold at heritage for over $7,500 so this is a relative bargain. It once belonged to famed collector Don Lineberger who died in a house fire years ago. Much of his art survived the fire and you can see a bit of soot outside the art on the lower left hand side. The print itself is heavier art stock and measure 12" x 17".
