DescriptionA great, large image from Raymond executed in 1936, his peak period...I remember seeing this as a kid in Russ Cochran's Grpahic Gallery in 1976...finally got it from Doc Dave in trade for a Frazetta drawing...I'd LOVE to get more of this type of Raymond's illustration.Social/Sharing |

Raymond succeeds in conveying mood through the slightly offset posture. Strong piece. Very nice.

Perfectly stated... I can certainly see how John Buscema was influenced by Raymond.
