Description

Wow....I picked this page up about 15 years ago in San Diego, and I am still amazed every time I look at it. From the story entitled, "Omen From The Beyond". Pencilled and inked by Ruben Yandoc, who I believe was one of several Filipino artists who got work during a threatened artist's strike at D.C. in the late '70s or early '80s. Check out the detail and in the additional close-up scan below. Of course it looks nowhere near this good on the color page of the published comic. Some artwork should just be left alone. A definite keeper for me.

Beautifull page did he ever work with Alex Nino ? they share a similar style which is incredible to see ;)

I believe they are both from the Phillipines, so it is possible.
