DescriptionThis was one of my favorite TV shows back in the 1970's, and helped launch John Travolta's career. On this title page to the story Gabe and Julie are having some problems with a leaky roof, when the building Super comes in to check things out. Jokes are very consistent with the writing from the TV show, which is why everything worked. This book lists Jack Sparling and Bob Oksner as "Artists", rather than one as penciller and the other inker. I have some of the pencil layouts for these, and I think it was probably Sparling doing the breakdowns/roughs, while Oksner was the artist who fixed things and made sure all of the likenesses were correct.Social/Sharing |
