Actually, this is page 35 of the issue, but page #1 of the story entitled, "The Inheritance". Awesome story about a vampire (what else?) illustrated in gorgeous washtones by Alcala the master.

what an incredible page!... the time alfredo puts into his work is inspiring to say the least.

I got this from him at San Diego many years ago when he was sitting with pal Ernie Chan. Alfredo told me that it was his work in these Marvel Mags that got him a lot of other work.

I was just wondering a few weeks ago why Alcala didn't get more Penciling work from Marvel (and DC). Tis piece only confirms what a mistake they made..
