I should mention that I don't own this seperate from the inked version. But it is under the inks somewhere :) I love seeing how the pencils compare to the inks, and thought you would too!

Under art type, I chose "commision" for lack of a better option. But this was actually a labor of love by the artist. Perhaps "artist portfolio" would be a better description if it was available.... The artist loves this character and developed this piece of art purely out of love of Hellboy and a desire to work in the Hellboy universe. Ultimately, he was so happy with it that he decided to ink it and used it in his portfolio when getting professional work. And because of this, the art shines much brighter than any commision ever would. I just got lucky enough to stumble over it at the right moment to buy it.
