Description

This was the drawing that Wendy Pini did in 1974 that was the VERY first appearance of who would become Cutter and Skywise... once she finished this drawing, she knew that these were the characters that she needed to pursue, and began the deconstruction and Manga stylization that led to the depictions that we know and love today. The first presentation of the Manga versions of these characters was three years later, in 1977. Thank you, Wendy and Richard!
