I think I speak for many when I say Mike defined Spidey for a new generation of readers. Like Ditko,John Romita and his son, McFarlane,Larsen,Byrne,Buscema,Zeck,Bagley and so many others, Mike offered us a definitive interpretation of Spidey. His was probably much closer to the original version than many.I feel blessed to own this sketch.RIP mr Wieringo and many thanks for all the fun you brought to Spiderman :)

Mike Wieringo was one of the greatest artists and storytellers in the comicbook industry! His art is amazing, period! He was the artist who motivates me enough to ink! He'll be dearly missed!!! Rest in peace, Mike, people will always love you and your art be forever!...

I'm thankful for the time Mike was on this earth and all the great stuff he did. I took it for granted too that his great art would come out every month as well. I hoped it would never end. He improved every single book he touched. Great Spidey sketch, another one of the many beautiful things Mike touched and made better.
