DescriptionAmazing Heroes #115 was the very first Swimsuit Issue they produced (April 15th, 1987) and nothing better in it than a full-page pin-up of OMAHA by Reed.Take the time to look at all the beautiful fine line inkwork on such a splendid piece, it is awesome.....if I say so myself....a very, very welcome addition to my collection. My first Waller art purchase in almost 10 years, something I didn't think would happen again....not with the current HIGH prices out there. Social/Sharing |

The way the hair is done rivals mainstream artists of the 80's era. Joyful in the celebratory body language to show the Amazing heroes audience that Omaha and Waller are much more than what its premise was in the beginning.

Congratulations, Mark. I saw this lovely Omaha image on CAF and considered a purchase as well, but decided to pass. We don't see a lot of Omaha images being offered any more, aside from Denis Kitchen's private collection offerings on Heritage recently.
As for me, I'm inclined to think my collecting days are likely drawing to a close. It seems to makes less and less sense to buy these paper collectibles at usurious prices that I won't be able to take with me, or pass on to another generation. We'll see what happens.
